Either, many offices run both. We standardise the build and management for whichever your team uses. ### Can staff keep their existing laptops? Yes; we audit them, bring them up to the standard build and add them to management and protection. ### How fast can you onboard a new hire? With a standard build in place, a new laptop is configured and ready within a day of the hardware arriving. ### Do you manage software licences? Yes, including Microsoft 365, Adobe and line-of-business software, with renewals tracked so nothing lapses. ### How quickly can a new starter be productive? With a standard build and Autopilot, a laptop taken out of the box configures itself against your settings and is ready within an hour, with the person's accounts, applications and security already in place. Without those, the same machine takes a day of somebody's time and the result differs each time. ### Should we buy laptops or lease them? That is a finance question more than an IT one, and both work. What matters technically is that whichever route you choose, the machines are a consistent specification and are managed centrally, so a leased fleet and a purchased fleet are supported identically. We can recommend a specification for either. ### What happens to a laptop when someone leaves? It is wiped remotely on the day they go, which removes their data and their access at once, then re-imaged from the standard build for the next person.
